Compression Spring Variables

Our springs are broken down into 3 sections based on the outside diameter.
Each has a unique number i.e. the Name column
Those which start
Outside Diameter – OD mm
Wire Size is in mm
Free Length – in that column you can see all the options but in the table of results you will only find those which match the section.
Rate n/mm refers to Newtons per millimetre. It is a unit of measurement for spring rate, also known as spring stiffness. It indicates how much force (measured in Newtons) is required to compress or extend a spring by one millimetre. A higher spring rate indicates a stiffer spring. A lower spring rate would be a softer spring.
